    F-5 Mandolins

    F-5 Mandolins… These are the classic Bluegrass Mandolins. The tops are made of Spruce. Back and sides are Maple and Walnut. The necks are made of Maple.

    The fret boards on all new instruments are made of Ebony or Cocobolo.

    The F-styles have F sound holes like a Violin. There are two spruce tone bars running parallel under the top along side each F hole.
